CONSEAL UTILITY
CONSEAL UTILITY is a two part, totally solvent free, mineral filled epoxy floor coating. It has good wear and abrasion resistance and is suitable for use use on industrial floors where the durability of our ceramic filled coatings are not required. It has excellent opacity and covering power, is resistant to oil, petrol, diesel fuel, most chemicals and has good resistance to sunlight.
CONSEAL UTILITY is very easy to mix and apply and little skill is required to produce a good job, provided the mixing and application instructions are followed. For best results we recommend applying two coats. For wet areas or where maximum slip resistance is required, we have a selection of non-slip additives that can be added to the coating to produce a variety of textures, please visit our website or call for more information.
Typical Uses: For areas that require a durable, long lasting finish but do not warrant the expense of ceramic filled coatings.

Preparation: Epoxy coatings should not be applied in temperatures of less than 7°c or to substrates less than 7°c. Store in temperatures of 15-25°c for at least 8 hours before use.
Mixing: Conseal Utility resin should be pre-mixed in the tin before the hardener is added. Add all of the hardener to the tin of resin and mix thoroughly with an electric mixer. Transfer all of the contents into clean a bucket and mix for another 2-3 minutes.
When mixed, the resin and hardener will start to react, generating heat which will accelerate the reaction. The greater the mass of epoxy, the more heat will be generated and the shorter the pot life. To prolong pot life pour the resin into shallow trays or onto the floor. If you require a smaller quantity or are unable to use all of the material within its pot life, weigh out resin and hardener in the proportions specified on the label using digital kitchen scales. Please see our website for more information on the proper mixing of epoxy resins
Application: CONSEAL UTILITY should be applied by brush and/ or medium pile roller. For best results we recommend applying two coats.
Over-coating: CONSEAL UTILITY can be over-coated as soon as it is touch dry as shown in the table overleaf according to the ambient temperature. If it is allowed to cure beyond the maximum overcoating time, glossy areas must be abraded before any further coatings are applied.
