Type: Two pack, solvent free modified polyurea coating
Cure System: Part moisture cure
Mix Ratio: See label on tin
Hardener: HDI pre-polymer blend, contains less than 0.1% free monomer
Resin Density: 1.4
Coverage: 5-7 m2/litre, depending on surface texture and porosity
Minimum over-coating time: 30 – 45 minutes
Solvent: Synsol PU
Colours: Most RAL colours available, depending on quantity required.
Pack Sizes: 5 , 10 and 25 kilos
Pot Life: up to two hours
Shelf life and Storage: 6-12 months in original, unopened container. Store in cool and dry conditions
Preparation: Concrete substrates should preferably be diamond
ground or blasted but if this is not possible the surface must be clean and free of loose material, laitance, oil, grease etc. Then primed with Xymertol Rapid Prime.
Mixing: Add all of the hardener to the tin of resin and mix slowly for several minutes preferably using a flat mixing blade in a drill. Try not to mix air in with the resin as this will reduce pot life. If you require a smaller quantity or
are unable to use all of the material within its pot life, weigh out resin and hardener in the proportions specified on the label using digital scales.
Application: Can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. A thin coat should be applied ensuring that the material is worked well into pin holes and imperfections so that 100% of the surface has been covered. Avoid leaving excess material to form thick areas as foaming may occur. On some porous substrates a second coat may be required to completely seal all porosity.
